Be careful not to blow your ad budget by targeting two independent targets at the same time.  Instead, narrow the targeting so each set become a subset of the other giving you a laser pointed ad at a specific target.

It’s basically the difference between AND and OR.  In your adset you can target Homeowners OR people who are likely to move.  For my example that gave me a potential reach of 61,000.  That’s not good since I know that not that many people in my city are planning on moving…especially since there are only 59,000 homeowners.  See what I mean.

So by using the Narrow feature in Facebook Ads I took that 61,000 down to 1300 laser targeted individuals.  When I ad the EXCLUDE categories to it, my target was pinpointed.
